Easy Lighting
Our Grills are simple to light, making it convenient and user-friendly. Primarily designed for wood, you can use charcoal too on the base.
Adjustable Grill Height:
Every Grill features an easy-to-use height adjustment mechanism, giving you complete control over the cooking temperature, overcoming the common challenge of maintaining the right temperature when cooking over an open flame.
THE V-SHAPED GRILL
The stainless steel V-shaped Grill plates have been crafted to reduce the risk of flare-ups, catching the juices and channeling them into a drip tray for basting your meat.

where it all began .....
The idea for Somerset Grill Co came about during Ben’s time as Deck Officer onboard the 126m Super Yacht Octopus. Whilst working on there, a custom-made Asado Grill, rumoured to have cost around $30,000 was installed on Board.
Tasting the food from this Grill, blew Ben’s mind. After converting his engineer brother Tom to the joys of ‘Asado’ cooking, the idea of Somerset Grill co was born.
PROTOTYPE STAGE
Still an idea at this stage, and much experimentation and learning fast!
Making live fire cooking easy and look great was the biggest challenge at stake. They set out to design an Asado grill that was in reach of all outdoor cooks, whilst fitting perfectly into customer's gardens, providing a variety of live-fire cooking methods.
Three prototypes and many designs later, the Glastonbury Asado Grill was born, and production started in a shipping container in 2019.
FIRST ASADO SOLD!
In August 2020 the website went live, and we sold our first Asado Grill to a very happy customer.
We had a business, and we continued to grow, although the pandemic caused a few challenges too.
We moved twice to bigger production premises as we quickly grew in 2021 and 2022, and key investor and mentor Martin joined the team.
NEW GRANDE launches
2023 saw us with a whole new product range, huge growth and another factory move at the end of the year.
Following feedback from customers, in January we launched the larger Grande, a new Cor-Ten material option and much improved Asado with better features and functions.
We doubled in size again in 2023, with additions to the production and marketing team too, we have exciting plans for 2024 and beyond.
